A big thanks

Now things are settling down after the busy Christmas period, we wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to all our customers for firstly, well...being our customers and secondly for being patient when the ice and snow made things tricky delivery-wise. Everyone received their turkey in plenty of time despite some delays for those caught up in the worst snow and ice. However we are going to re-think our delivery service this year - we need to find a way of having more control without adding to the cost - a tricky one, I'm sure you'll agree.

The good news is that we've already received several letters from people telling us just how much they enjoyed their turkey - one from a new customer saying it was the "best turkey I've ever tasted". We've even taken an order for Christmas 2010 - the first time ever we've taken an order in January! The kind comments and the appreciation for what we do here makes the hard work worth it.

We are now in the process of putting together our breeding groups for the coming year and after the success of last year we are hoping to produce some wonderful poults come early summer. The only problem left to solve is how to stop the crows from pinching the eggs!
