About the Farmer's Wife

  

Wow, where do I begin?

For a start, I never thought I'd be describing myself as a farmer's wife. A woman who likes shoes? Yes.  A journalist who enjoys the thrill of a good news story? Yes.  But a farmer's wife? That's a toughie.  Yet here I am bringing up our children, farming our land and raising our turkeys.  My life is sometimes chaotic - and believe me 7 children make for a lot of work - but I wouldn't change a thing. 

I still have 50 odd pairs of shoes in boxes in a top cupboard and occasionally I've been known to greet the postman wearing Versace (complete with turkey poo) but I really couldn't be happier.

PS  I shall be starting a blog soon. Just about me, our family and our life here and if nothing else, it may help you appreciate just how organised you really are!
