About Our Farm

In these days of giant commercial farms producing food on an industrial scale, Six Brothers is microscopic. We are only producing 200 turkeys this year. They don’t all have names…..but some of them do,  and we believe small scale production leads to better welfare for animals - we don’t take lightly the responsibility that goes with farming. 

Six Brothers is in organic conversion with the Soil Association and under the organisation's rigorous standards we will be producing fully organic turkeys for Christmas 2008.

We keep a few cattle and about 20 sheep to eat the grass when there aren’t many birds on the farm in the spring time. We have two sheep dogs called Beau and Fly and six very noisy, but wildly amusing and brilliant sons. There really are six brothers!
